The company recently donated 1,500 N95 masks to Brecksville firefighters and paramedics. The fire department uses the N-95 masks on all calls in which patients are suspected of having COVID-19 symptoms. As a precaution, first responders use surgical masks on all other calls.
New Orleans received a donation of 1,000 N95 masks from Sherwin-Williams. Supplies are being processed by New Orleans Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness and will be distributed to a combination of healthcare and frontline workers.

The Phoenix, Arizona Sherwin-Williams team came together to donate much needed PPE to a local hospital – St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. They donated hundreds of items, including gloves, coveralls, shoe covers, and N95 masks to those working on the front lines.
A customer volunteering with a grassroots effort in Ann Arbor, Michigan – Angels Wear Gowns – expressed gratitude for the donation of painter’s plastic. The group is transforming it into no-sew isolation gowns. They have created 3,000+ gowns to date, donating to hospitals, nursing homes, EMS, jails, homeless shelters, and more.

The Greater Cleveland COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund is designed to complement the work of public health officials and expand local capacity to address all aspects of the outbreak as efficiently as possible. The Rapid Response Fund will provide grant awards on a rolling basis to nonprofit organizations in Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga counties.
As a customer in New York retrofitted their distillery to produce hand sanitizer, employees from our Protective and Marine Coatings Division assisted in sourcing more than 500 gallons of isopropyl alcohol. The finished product will be shipped to medical and healthcare facilities across the Northeast states.

The California Bay District teams have been able to gather more than 3,700 N95 masks and gloves to donate to local hospitals, including 1,400 masks to John Muir Medical Center in Contra Costa County, 1000 masks and 1000 gloves to Stanford Health Care in San Mateo County, and 1,289 Masks to UCSF in San Francisco County.
