‘Helpers’ Mural Honors Heroes of the Coronavirus at the Oceanfront
When the Coronavirus pandemic has subsided and tourists return to Virginia Beach, artist Sam Welty wants people to remember the “helpers.” So he’s in the process of painting a 7,000 square-foot mural on the back wall of an Oceanfront hotel, with paint donated from Sherwin-Williams.
Plastic Sheeting Donation Made to Ambitious Volunteers
A customer volunteering with a grassroots effort in Ann Arbor, Michigan – Angels Wear Gowns – expressed gratitude for the donation of painter’s plastic. The group is transforming it into no-sew isolation gowns. They have created 3,000+ gowns to date, donating to hospitals, nursing homes, EMS, jails, homeless shelters, and more.
